MOMBASA HERE WE GO!!
It’s been 347 days since the Mombasa retreat was conceived as an opportunity for the Hill Voices Choir in the SWOT analysis exercise held on October 20 th 2022. Today marks the beginning of the end, that is, the final week of the planning and the actual retreat week. As at today, we have 4 days to the retreat, I mean 4 days!! Yaani, 1-2-3-4…(You can actually count with your fingers). As the word of God would say, “Better is the end of a thing than its beginning” (Ecclesiastes 7:8), for sure we are almost into the “better” part. This wouldn’t have been on sight if the LORD was not on our side, and as the Psalmist would write… ”If it had not been the LORD who was on our side – Let Israel now say…” (Psalms 124:1). I would like to sincerely thank God for His awesomeness in allowing all that has happened so far (with regards to the planning).
